Toxics Reduction Act

Meeting Ontario’s T.R.A. Reporting Requirements

In 2009, the Government of Ontario passed legislation known as the Toxics Reduction Act, 2009. The purpose of this legislation was “to prevent pollution and protect human health and the environment by reducing the use and creation of toxic substances.”(Section 1(a) of the Toxics Reduction Act, 2009).

Consistent with our ongoing commitment to transparency, and to meeting the regulatory requirements of Ontario’s Toxics Reduction Act, an annual report is provided to the public and to our employees for our operating facility located in Vaughan, Ontario.
