This $73 million project transformed the Tracy Hall Science Center at Weber State University (WSU) into a state-of-theart facility that will be able to keep up with the evolving STEM requirements. This facility is now home to over seven different science departments, and will be able to accommodate their increasing enrollment demand. One of the unique features of this project was that the designer wanted to embody a “Science on Display” theme by incorporating sleek hallway windows that allow passerby’s to see ongoing activities within the laboratories. The indoor window feature promotes transparency and public space which will help change the ‘silo-ed” department culture to one of free exchange and collaboration.
