BOSTON UNIVERSITY
Project Summary
For the 5-story Life Sciences and Engineering building at Boston University, one of the project requirements prior to commencing the installation was to provide a fully functional mock up due to the complexity of the casework. This allowed the owner, the architect, the general contractor and the other associated trades to inspect and make revisions to the benching. This mock up proved very helpful in coordination with the other trades, and was a main component to the success of this project. The facility houses research laboratories, administrative offices, and a 150-seat seminar room completes the scope. The highest quality AA grade veneers provide a stunning finish to the wood casework.
