CHERNOFF HALL
QUEEN’S UNIVERSITY
Project Summary
Queen’s University Chernoff Hall was awarded R&D Magazine’s Lab of the Year – High Honors Award for innovation and safety. This five-story complex opened in 2002 and houses the University’s Chemistry Department. CiF provided value engineering by offering our innovative and proven M-Line MDF casework in lieu of maple casework, resulting in a dramatic cost savings for the University. The catalyzed vinyl lab grade finish was custom blended to match the color scheme throughout the building, while offering the highest degree of chemical resistance.
